No kickbck account for buyers

24 August 2026

Buyers do not sign up for kickbck. They pay, and the drop lands in their inbox.

Checkout collects an email through Stripe. When the payment clears, we email file links for this month’s drop. A backup page at /download works while they are subscribed. That is the whole buyer experience.

Lost the email?

/orders takes the address they paid with and resends the links. Same response whether or not that address has ever bought anything, so nobody can probe your customer list.

Cancel?

Same page. Cancel in one click. The door closes at the end of the period they already paid for. They lose the current drop, not a lifetime archive.

Why skip accounts

A buyer account is work for them and liability for us. Most people buy once a month and leave. Forcing a password at checkout adds friction to the only moment that matters.

Email plus a signed download token is enough. Stripe holds the card. We hold the entitlement check. The inbox carries the files.

For sellers

You still have a dashboard. Buyers do not need one. Say that out loud on your product page. It is a feature, not an apology.
