Terms

Two kinds of people use kickbck: creators who open a shop, and buyers who pay for what’s on it. Both of you are bound by these terms. If you open a shop for a company, you’re saying you can bind that company too.

You have to be 18 to create an account or buy. If you’re opening a shop, you also have to be allowed to take payments where you live.

You claim a username, you keep a login. The name stays yours unless you give it up or we have to close the account. Don’t share the password. You’re responsible for what happens on the account.

Tell us the truth when you sign up. A fake name, a stolen card, or a shop opened to test stolen details gets shut down. If you think someone else is in the account, change the password.

You set the prices, you upload the files, you write the bio. The public page is kickbck.com/you. You have to have the right to sell what you list: you made it, you licensed it, or the law already lets you.

We can take a product or a shop down if it’s illegal, stolen, abusive, or against these terms. We don’t pre-read every listing. A live shop is not an endorsement.

A monthly drop, a file, an hour. Work that is yours. Buyers should get what they paid for on kickbck: what’s in the drop, a download, or a clearly described session. They see the list before they pay. A listing whose only delivery is “message me somewhere else” is not a product here.

Don’t list:

• Work you don’t have the right to sell, including unlicensed software, fonts, footage, or books.
• Resale of someone else’s product as if it were yours. PLR bundles and “resell rights” mills included.
• Anything illegal where you or the buyer live: stolen goods, drugs, weapons, child sexual abuse material.
• Malware, phishing kits, or tools whose main job is to harm people or break into accounts.
• Hate, harassment, or content that exists to attack people for who they are.
• Get-rich-quick schemes, credit repair, fake documents, or anything Stripe won’t process. Their restricted businesses list applies because cards run through them.

If we take something down, we may also refund recent buyers and close the account. Repeat offences don’t get a long talk.

Buyers pay on kickbck. Stripe runs checkout and sends your share to the Stripe account you connect, which pays out to your bank on Stripe’s schedule. We never hold the payout. kickbck takes 6.5% of each sale, deducted at checkout, so what reaches your account is already net of it. That 6.5% is the only deduction. Nothing further is taken off your side. The split is also on Pricing. If that 6.5% ever changes, we’ll say so first, not bury it.

Connecting Stripe means you also agree to Stripe’s Connected Account Agreement. Until it’s connected, anything you price can’t be bought. Every paid sale runs through kickbck checkout, so there’s no path where money changes hands outside it.

You are responsible for the taxes on your sales: income tax, and any sales tax, VAT, or GST you owe where you live. We do not currently collect or remit sales tax for you. If that changes, we’ll say so on this page and on Pricing, not in a footnote.

kickbck is not your accountant. If you need to know what to file, ask someone who does that for a living.

When you buy on kickbck, you’re buying from the creator. We host the shop and checkout. You do not need a kickbck account. Use the email address you pay with to access your orders. The description and delivery are the creator’s responsibility. Read the product page before you pay. All prices are in US dollars (USD).

A paid order is your record of purchase. Keep the confirmation email. If you lose your download links, visit your orders page to resend them to the address you paid with.

Files are available after payment. Download links are for the buyer who paid. Do not share them publicly. For subscriptions, access continues while your subscription is active. Cancel from your orders page using the email you paid with. Access continues through the end of your current billing period.

We send a receipt, and for subscriptions we email new file links each month. If email is slow, the success page after checkout still shows what you bought. It doesn’t grant anything on its own. The paid order does.

Creators can refund a sale from the dashboard. A refund returns the money through Stripe and pulls the download. Our 6.5% goes back with it. Partial refunds follow whatever Stripe will do on that charge.

Chargebacks and disputes go through Stripe, not through a kickbck courtroom. If a buyer opens one, the creator is on the hook for Stripe’s process and any fees Stripe charges. A shop with a lot of disputes can lose its Stripe account, which takes native checkout with it.

If you bought something that wasn’t as described, write to the creator first. If the shop is gone or the file never arrives, use /orders from the address you paid with and include the order. We can refund or restore access when the record is clear. We are not a guaranteed buyer-protection programme.

You keep what you upload. By listing it, you give kickbck a licence to host, display, and deliver it so the shop and the checkout can work, including covers, titles, and the files in the drop after a paid order. We don’t sell your files as our own.

Don’t upload anything that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark, or privacy. If you think a shop is using your work, see Copyright below.

If you believe something on kickbck infringes your copyright, write to us with:

• your name and how to reach you
• what work is yours
• the URL of the listing
• a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use isn’t authorised
• a statement that the information is accurate, and that you are the owner or authorised to act
• your signature (typed is fine)

We’ll look at it and take down what we have to. Repeat infringers lose the shop. If we took your listing down and you think that was wrong, write back with a counter-notice.

Don’t try to break the site, scrape it in a way that knocks it over, probe other people’s shops for files, or use kickbck to spam. Don’t impersonate us. Don’t collect buyer emails off the site to sell a list. Don’t use the platform to run a business we’ve said we don’t want.

A page, a checkout, a drop or a file after a paid order. The service is offered as-is. We will fix what we can. We don’t promise it will be up every hour of every day, or that a particular sale, ranking, or feature will last forever.

We are not liable for what a creator sells, for a file that disappoints you, for money you expected to make, or for Stripe declining a payout. If the law in your country says we can’t disclaim something, that part stays; the rest still applies. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. For a creator, that’s the 6.5% on your sales, not the sales themselves.

If your shop or your listing gets us sued, you cover us, including reasonable legal costs, unless we caused the problem on our own.

You can stop using kickbck whenever you want. Hide a product and it leaves the public page. Close the account and we remove what we can; paid orders stay long enough to prove a download was owed.

We can close a shop that breaks these terms, or the whole service. Your Stripe account is yours either way. Export what you can while the shop is up. If we shut the lights off for everyone, we’ll give notice first, not vanish overnight.

We can update these terms. The date at the top will move. If a change is material (the fee, who holds the money, what you can sell) we’ll say so in the product, not only here. Keep using kickbck after a change and the new terms apply.

If it’s about your shop, use the account. If it’s about an order, use /orders from the address you paid with.
